Keeping yourself in shape at 50+ can be perceived as being a difficult task. Maybe you haven’t exercised in a few years and you have put a few pounds on. What my aim is with this website is to prove to you that it is not too late nor too difficult to get in shape.
I see time and again people at 50+ let themselves go thinking its too late. I did not start training properly until I reached 57 and now I understand it to be the same as business, you need to working on yourself consistently.
Visiting the gym once or twice a week for 3 months a year. Giving it up for 9 months and coming back a year later doesn’t achieve anything. I do not have any massive stringent training program, I do as much as i feel comfortable with. What I have been doing over the last 8-9 months has allowed me to see and feel some great results.
To get these results I will include information about the regime I use and about consistency. Later I will be making posts about training tips, protein, diet and eating habits and much more.
I do not claim to have all the secrets worked out yet, but I know where I am today is a great improvement on where I was 12 months ago. I also know where I want to be in another 12 months and that will be another massive improvement.
One thing is for sure I haven’t put myself out to get where I am now and you don’t have to either. Just 30-40 minutes a day 6 days a week can achieve the kind of results I am talking about. I have found it is all about consistency. I will be putting up daily and weekly posts with hints and tips about what I am doing.
Do not give up at our age, think of yourself.
